Acer has been somewhat slow to enter the netbook market dominated by the Asus Eee PC. Acer netbook Aspire One A110-Ab is a very impressive netbook with 8.9 inches screen capable to compete with the best products of the market. It has a resolution of 1024 x’s 600 pixels for a weight of 2.2 pounds. It is equipped with a 1.6 Ghz Intel Atom N270 processor. Sold with 512 MB of RAM, it is highly recommended to double the RAM immediately. The hardrive has a capacity of 8 GB.
From the equipment standpoint, there is a card reader, a webcam, a wi-fi 802,11 g and a battery 3 cells. The Acer Aspire One A110-Ab is available with Linux or Windows XP. Price varies in between $350 and $400.
